SEAMUS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Install the VenexusSeamus.zip using the standard DotNetNuke Module installation method (Host > Module Definitions > Upload New Module)  

SEAMUS CONFIGURATION SETTINGS

1. Add Venexus.Seamus to a page on your site.
2. Go Into the module Settings.
3. Under Seamus Settings, change
   1. Items Per Feed to an integer. 0 will not show the feed on the page.
   2. Link to Article Text to the text you would like to display as a link to the article
   3. If No Records to Hide Feed if you do not want to display an empty feed, or Show "No Records" to display there are no items for the feed.
   4. Show Feed checked will provide a RSS feed for the last 10 items indexed.
   5. Use Portal Specific Feed will provide a RSS feed for the last 10 items indexed for that portal.
   6. Update Index Every to an integer for the number of hours you would like to have Seamus reindex the content of the site.
4. Click Update

EDIT FEEDS INSTRUCTIONS

1. Click on the Edit Feeds link
2. Add a Title for the feed
3. Add the RSS URL for the feed
4. If the feed requires a Username and Password, add it to the textboxes.
5. You can change the Cache Time for the feed by changing the integer (30 minutes by default)
6. You can change the TimeOut for the feed by changing the integer (10 seconds by default)
7. If you do not want the feed to be crawled, you can make in inactive by unchecking Active
8. Click Update

You can modify the look and feel of the feed by uploading your own RSS XSLT file.

Click Return to get back to the main view.

You can now install the Search module.
